How to create a new task in Asana when a new Notion page is added

Set the Notion trigger as "New Page added"

Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.

Click "Add trigger" and select "New Page added" under Notion automation. Then, select the database. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new pages added in Notion and initiate necessary actions.

Add the "Create task" Asana automation

Integrate the Asana automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt creation of new tasks for new pages in Notion.

Select the "Add step" button, then locate the "Create task" automation for Asana and input the mandatory and relevant details.

If your Asana account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to create a task through your Asana account.

Activate your Relay.app playbook

Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the creation of Asana tasks. Once turned on, it will respond to new pages added in Notion by creating a new task in Asana without manual intervention.
